Music Teacher, Kindergarten-2nd grade, Kodaly trainedVeritas Academy

We are seeking a loving, serving, thinking educator with experience teaching music using the Kodaly method to join us for the 2026-2027 school year. The Kindergarten through Second Grade Music Teacher is responsible for laying a foundation for musical literacy using the Kodaly method with our young learners. In addition to twice a week general music classes for Kindergarten through second grades, first and second grades also have choir classes once per week. Christmas and Spring Concerts are culminating events for all our classes.  Possibilities exist to expand the position to include 3rd grade, as well as to take over an existing private piano studio on site. This part-time position may also be combined with other positions for more hours.

Active certification is not required, but minimum BA or BS, facility in your content area, and excellent classroom management and communication skills are essential. A love for both children and music is a prerequisite for this position.
