Job Summary

Location: Onsite Nampa, Idaho (Boise, Treasure Valley Area)

Department: Marketing

Reports to: Director of Marketing (dotted line to Head of Marketing for brand alignment)

Relocation: May be considered for the right candidate

Start date: No later than July 1, 2026

AmmoSquared is looking for a Social Media Manager to own and execute our social media presence across platforms. This role sits within our Content & Creative team and plays a critical part in turning content, events, and partnerships into consistent, high-performing social distribution.

This is not a passive posting role.

You will be responsible for amplifying the voice of AmmoSquared, building community, and driving engagement that supports customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty.

What You'll Own

Content Distribution & Publishing

  • Manage and execute daily social media posting across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, etc.)

  • Turn long-form content (video, blogs, podcasts) into short-form, platform-native content

  • Ensure consistent publishing cadence and brand voice

Content Amplification

  • Work directly with the Content Producers to distribute video content effectively

  • Collaborate with the Events Coordinator to capture and amplify event-driven content

  • Support product launches, campaigns, and promotions through social channels

Community & Engagement

  • Engage with comments, DMs, and community conversations

  • Build relationships with customers, followers, and advocates

  • Maintain a strong, authentic voice aligned with AmmoSquared's values

Influencer & Partner Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating influencer collaborations and content distribution

  • Help manage social visibility for partnerships and sponsorships

  • Identify and engage with aligned collaborative creators in the preparedness and shooting community

Performance & Optimization

  • Track and report on social media performance metrics

  • Identify what content is working and iterate quickly

  • Optimize for engagement, reach, and conversion support

Qualifications

You’ll become a top candidate if:

  • Have experience in the 2A space  (Firearms, outdoor, hunting space)

  • Understand the mindset of responsible gun owners and prepared citizens

  • Have worked with influencers or brand partnerships

  • Have demonstrative basic video editing skills using (CapCut, Adobe Premier, or Davinci Resolve)

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other emerging platforms3 - 5 years
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and performance tracking3 - 5 years
  • Ability to write clear, engaging captions3 - 5 years
  • Experience with short-form video (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style content)3 - 5 years
  • Social Media Management 3 - 5 years
Nice to Have
  • Podcasting production experience a plus3 - 5 years
